Siting a container is the buyer's responsibility. Many towns and counties treat a container as a structure and require a permit, a setback or a specific foundation before it can stand on your land, and HOA rules may restrict it further. Check with your local building department before you order. Dimensions, tare weights and capacities are nominal manufacturer figures and vary slightly between builds; used units are sold with the wear described by their grade.
